Too polish intake/exhaust port or not! That is the question!

Come on guru's discuss! Correct me if I am wrong. Polished ports on a N\A engine especially the intake side is a no-no! How about turboed engines? Air is lazy, but at the same time you need some type of turbulence to have proper air/fuel mixture!

Well, DAMN IT ALL TO HELL!!!!!!
To make a long story short.....
Port the Intake, leave rough for better fuel atomization. Turbo or NA
port the Exhaust, polish your heart out NA, turbo you can take it or leave it. it may help, but its forced through anyway.

I polished my exhaust just cause I could. figured it couldnt hurt.
