Whats up guys, my friend showed me this forum and i like the builds i see coming along. My names Mark and im from Queens Ny. I use to be a former owner of a B5 A4.

Car was nice and comfy but ran like utter crap most of the time. Fixed one thing another broke and it was a habit it wasent going to kick. Car was k04'd all that fun stuff. I still remember alot about these cars so if anyone here is building or dailying a B5 1.8t ask away. Sold the car in the summer on 12' and picked this car up. My beloved 95 S14.

Some mods the car came with were:
HKS hi-power exhaust
Injen intake
headers and test pipe
Exedy clutch
Sparco Seats
brembo brakes
and a simple strut and lowering spring combo.
I was loving the car and all was well until hurricane sandy came along and decided to

up

After alot of elbow grease and making sure all salt water was gone from the driver side and underbody of the car, I drove it like this for about a month. After sourcing pita parts to find and sending out my car to my good friends body shop this is how she looks now

Now since that long boring intro is out the way, here are my plans currently. I want to run a KA-t setup. Which is the stock motor which comes in the U.S for those who don't know. Its a 2.4 liter four banger. They were originally used in older Nissan pickups and have a reputation for being torquey. Parts as of now that I've acquired
370cc Injectors of a Jdm Sr20 motor

New Isis t28 ( re manufactured garret t28 turbo, not shotty ebay crap )

Bigger Maf off a z32 300zx, didnt need this but if i ever choose to go Gt28rs down the road this maf can handle the air flow

Custom oil feed line i bought of a forum from a previous Ka-T build. Still have to figure out what kind of end it has so i can buy the piece for my turbo.

Walbro 255 that i received this morning

KAAZ 2way Lsd I picked up off craigslist. Got it for a good deal that i couldn't pass up no matter how badly it set me back financially.

Some S13 FMIC piping i picked up with core and some unknown BOV attached for a epic deal on craigslist from the same guy i bought the Lsd off of.

Some parts that im still awaiting on that i ordered last week are S15 turbo elbow and down pipe 3', KAAZ 2 way diff oil, New motor mounts and transmission mount, and a turbo manifold.

Update On some parts that have arrived
Not the best welds in some spots but it'll do

Down pipe and turbo elbow.

Kaaz Lsd oil for my 2way

Megan Racing Solid Tranny mount

And heres something anyone in there 20's and on can appreciate

Welcome to the forum man! It's great to get some variety around here! Sucks that sandy screwed up your car, but I must say, it sure looks great now!!! OH and also, I LOVE the KA24DE engine. Just a great motor to play with, especially sense it basically makes the same power as my VG30 stock. HAHA

Welcome to the Pad. I'd be lying if I told you that old Audi builds weren't my favorite, but I think there is room onboard for a nice 240sx. I had a 90 240sx that I sold a couple of years ago that I really liked. It was in pretty decent shape with new paint and suspension and was just begging for a SR20DET motor or like your direction I had thought about a turbo on the stock 2.4l. Bang for the buck, a 240sx is hard to beat. Keep posting.

Cool project. I'm in Westchester. I had really bad luck with my Walbro as have a few other guys I know (some on this board in fact).
Mine lasted all of a few miles and left me stranded on the highway. Had to get it towed home. Hope you have better luck!

A bit of a update even though I didnt take any pictures during the install, I installed my solid motor and tranny mounts and they make one hell of a difference. The awesome part that they aren't even harsh and completely comfortable to bare with. As of now there are still a bit left for my turbo build, my main focus now is getting the rear done bushings and diff finally putting on my z32 rear shoe clamps and installing a ebrake cable, so i can run one event this year even if its all motor.

I'm kindof a noob when it comes to these, but does this have the Red Top Sr20det? A buddy of mine wants to swap in a either a KA24de or Sr20det into his 510, which would you recommend? Ultimately he wants to see 350 - 400whp.

These cars in the states came with the ka24de which is pretty much a pickup truck motor . Over seas these came with the infamous sr20det. Between the two alot of people go sr because its a easy swap and a very tune friendly motor. With a sr20 you can get a Rom tune and slap a gt28rs on it and make 300ish+ on a stock block. You loose bottom end torque vs the ka24. If you could find a cheap ka for about 100-200 an spend the rest of what a sr20 would cost (1800-2400) you could have a pretty nice ka24det.

Need to find the bolt size for the inlet part or buy studs... either or. Plan on purchasing a few more items in the following week.

As of now, I have a date for a event i want to do set in mind, and even though the car wont be boosted by Aug 10, im trying to get Everything sorted All motor wise. I ordered in this pass week a Set of new STANCE coilovers, Rear subframe bushings from ENERGY, Diff Bushings from ENERGY and New back housing gasket, New set of R33 skyline ebrake cables, and a ebrake button so the ebrake dosent stay locked when you yank on it. Here's a picture of the coilovers from the seller, never mounted in car

Lack of updates and parts due to family problems recently, that ran me into a financial hole but managed to pick up this sub-frame for dirt cheap.

height wise, yes i have adjusted them to a suitable height for now until i can fund new tires, and get a proper alignment done. I have to soften the suspension a wee bit. In the beginning i didn't mind it and it felt good, but driving back from a jersey event miserable and tired the bumps got annoying quick.
