Pics don't seem to be added sequentially... looks like you need to start from the beginning with every update.

I noticed that as well. Had to go through it each time. Not so bad though, they are doing some amazing work!

Wow that's mesmerizing to look though. Dual oil pickups to an external pump. Pretty neato!

Any thoughts on the button on the shift knob? Nitrous? Lol no

Clutch control. They didn't use it much, but that is why the motorsport cars have the goofy looking clutch pedal.

Wow that is interesting. Maybe they should've used it more with the inside of the trans looking so chewed on haha

Front R&P failure was common with the 016s.

I love how they rebuild composite replicas of parts as if it's totally NBD.

Hydro clutch, fucking thing nearly busted my shin the first time I was moving shokan old car. Push button clutch pedal slams down, release button clutch slams back.

Great way to kill a half hour, that was quite pic intensive and an awesome restoration! Were most of those panels fabbed up or done on a brake? I can't imagine there are are any originals left..

With the first major update last year, they deleted a lot of images that I kind of miss.

There were a lot more images of cutting the shell open and finding more rust, more rust, more rust.

Roll in an immaculate looking gray Coupe GT.

Strip immaculate looking Coupe GT.

Cut roof and rockers/floor chunks out of immaculate looking Coupe GT...

They did something similar with one of their TA64 Celica restorations. They rolled in what looked like a show car timemachine perfect Celica, and then cut it all up for body parts.

Don't get me wrong, it makes sense. A perfect Coupe GT is, what, $10-20kUS to the right buyer, an A2 with provenance is worth maybe $300-500k? At that point a $15k car is just a parts car. But there's still a small part of me that cringes when a car like that is treated like a parts car. Especially with my geographically-driven automotive bias, where anything more than a couple years old is likely to have surface rust everywhere and you need torches to remove a lot of fasteners. (Except VWAG products, because they uses fancy coated bolts, and I wish I knew where to get those!)

Updated on Halloween, 1465 images now!

Looks like it is running and driving!

It is slightly annoying how the images end up out of sync, had to start at 1200 to catch up from where we last left off.

There's some carbon fiber work, and the VERY interesting part starts at image 1282. It takes a while before you realize what they are doing/making.

WTF starts at 1310.
