Just want some input from people who have built engines with rifle drilled rods and without. Just don't know how necessary they are since there are oil squirters that put oil up by the pin.

I've never used them so just spitballing here, but I don't think they're "necessary" but obviously can't hurt. Squirtes don't actually put oil in the wrist pin bushing like the drilling does. Just one of those things for added piece of mind in your build. I'd probably make that sort of decision based on your intended use of the engine, and how much money you have in all the other parts...
