What does it take to have the engine running in another car? VEMs? Megasquirt? Or is there a way to use the stock ECU?

you'll need to be a bit more specific.
what engine? what wiring harness? what ecu? transplanted into what?

no immobilizers or anything to deal with on that engine.
you can use stock ecu and harness if you want.

Sorry for the late reply. My Tapatalk seemed to have locked me out.
I'm thinking of transplanting the engine into a 4 door 72 Valiant.
