Jonh, here is some info about the Tilton Prop valve that I use in my Blue Pill: Tilton Info
Its available in metric (M10x1.0), the rest of the system in the car is M10x1.25 so we need to get the appropriate fittings when we make the one line.
The main reason for running this is to send more pressure to the rears because the G60 fronts are more efficient than the G54's they replace. With the factory balance, they fronts will literally do all the work, and the rears will barely wipe the surface rust from the rotors. With the mechanical torque split in the first generation quattro system (quattro v1.0) (

), you need to send way more pressure to the V8 rears in order to utilize their capabilities. If you were to use the lever-type prop valve, you would likely run it in position 6 or 7 as mentioned in the page above to send as much bias to the rear as you can.
Normally you would assume that you use this bias valve to 'cut' line pressure, but in this case you use it because it lets you send more pressure to the rears than the factory valve will allow.
As far as the dimmer switch, I might have one new in box from a few years back when Blau was closing them out, I bought one for the heck of it. I still think our best bet is to hit the pick-a-part in hopes that there is a 4k or two over there that has a good one in it. Then again there is some good news to be found here: AutohausAZ
