Nice! Let's see your timing map. I can almost guarantee you're running more timing than I was. Still, that's pretty awesome considering the slipping clutch. Oh, and that dyno graph spools super late. Road logs show 4500-4600rpm tops

Re: 374whp ~23.5psi Pump 93 ... Baby Steps...
Yup, my street pulls show a pretty big improvement in spool too... A proper clutch would certainly load the turbo up better too... So like I said, there plenty of room here, it seems...chaloux wrote:Nice! Let's see your timing map. I can almost guarantee you're running more timing than I was. Nice man. I love this car ive never commented before but been following it for a long time now. I love the combination of the red and bbs ch's.when I can afford it those are the wheels id go for. What spring rates are you running on the coilovers? Looks lime the exact setup im going for.

Thanks a lot man...
The CH's are up for grabs, if you'd like dibbs, PM me...
Top are Eibach 250-550 tender springs
Bottom Left Eibach 8" 475lb
Bottom Right Eibach 7" 350lb

I'll be building my set around these 10way Adjustable Spax Units (#1056-2A) I have laying around in my basement.
I'll see how they cope at the stiffest setting with the 475's up front...
I'll place the softer 350lb springs in the rear for now and adjust my sway bar to the hardest setting and see how it feels.
All I'm looking for is a compliant ride that doesn't bottom out, using stock replacement struts. Not really a track setup.
I can always swap them around and experiment. I might actually need to put the softer shorter 350lb springs up front since they are a bit more "barreled" and should allow for gland nut compatibilty, but I really don't want to bottom out up front...
The Eibach 250-550 tender springs are for sale too if anyone wants them

sweet. Ive never heard of anyone putting stiffer springs in the front on the URS/t44, wouldnt it plow pretty bad? Id love to grab those tender springs and the chs but I just dropped all my spending $ and then some on the 6speed swap and clutch. Gonna have to save some $ or sell some more parts or my S6 to get some $ for more goodies!
Re: Leaving the Power Behind & Focusing on Control... (for n
Believe it or not most stock setups come this way from the factory. Even the off the shelf H&R are stiffer in the front versus the rear. It might have to do with the added weight up front. I do know of a couple track guys overseas that run stiffer front on their cars too. We tend to forget that sway bars also impact body roll, not just the springs. I'll experiment until it's where I can get a streetable ride with enough reduced roll.tfried87 wrote:sweet. Legal Success

Test fitting some wheel that will soon be installed once the coilover setup is done

Noticed low pads while the wheels were off... going to look for a less dusty pad choice...

Damn nice wheels! They must be really light as I can't even see them
I had my car on the same hunter rack for my alignment too. Post a pic of your printout.

Had them just do me a favor so I didn't ask for anything but toe adjustments.... Camber is off on my passanger side, and the rear has the typical issues of lowered UrS cars... hoping someones camber plates can be produced soon as I'm just itching to put in my coilovers since they're done (sans paint)... but would rather do it all in one sweep...ringbearer wrote:I had my car on the same hunter rack for my alignment too. They fit like a glove... soo perfect... In retrospect I really didn't mind grind all those welds... I think anyone that can find a spare set of housings should go ahead and give it a go...DE80q wrote:Looking good, glad to see those rings I made finally get used.
You should make a batch and list them as a member product.

Nice, I'm glad they worked so well. Unfortunately, I haven't had much spare time lately, so have been making them to order.mushasho wrote:They fit like a glove... soo perfect... Ouch. Too much anti-lag?
Re: Tear Down Begins... Why not...
Twice at the drag strip before it melted.. I've laid off it this go around... But I'm actually impressed that it wasn't the turbo that failed first with how much I used launch control I used beforehand... I always thought that'd be the first order of business to let go...
