you'd need to find a 5kt dash to cut apart and get the cluster housing. and i imagine you could cut it up to fit on the stock dash, however you will need to cut into the defrost ducting in the dash, and both sides as the 5kt cluster is wider.
luckily, the gas gauge matches up ohms wise, and so does the temp gauge.
do you have a 160mph speedo or one of those 80mph?

You still planning on putting suede or simular material on the dash?
I want a 160 of course!~!

yeah, black alcantara on the dash

to match the ebrake handle and shifter knob.

(i'm still car 323)

check out the R/T 8)
this is with the big yellow spring in the WG, and C16 in the tank, oh, and a 7A cam in the exhaust. i think i'm gonna put the intake back in too.

nice 60ft time Derek!!!! That will rip an stock EVO or STI any day of the month!! Your car is really put together nicely! Any Vids?
Oh and what boost pressure?

Pretty damn impressive! Might be able to get a k24 into the 12's, which I find amazing.
What is the word on the intake came? I had planned on doing a 7a exhaust, but never really gave much consideration to the intake.

it was about 90F today and my car was fairly warm. i have an IM spacer i think i'd like to throw on, and the 7A intake cam, and perhaps open up the exhaust as i think that's a good amount of restriction at this point as well. oh, and make some ducting for the IC... it has none right now and air can just go all around it. apparently they run drags up into the middle of october, so i'll see what i can get accomplished and head back for the 12's on a k24

oh, and no locked rear diff either, trans has a torsen (89' 200 20vt trans). so yeah, pretty good launch. and the gearing and suspension is set up just perfect for this, the car leaps right out of the hole, no bog, just a little wheelspin 8)
boost is spiking about 27psi, i know, i know.. too much for a k24, but it's not my fault. it's an IA ecu with this yellow spring that i can't figure out what it's labeled as. i think i'd like to try for 12's with the current turbo and ecu before i switch up to the AAN harness, GT3071, and 034's matching chip.

even though i know it's not 100% accurate, it's pretty close...
the top one is pump gas, the bottom race gas. it's gotta be pretty close to accurate because i know other's have dyno'd stage 1 IA and similar ecu's at 230ish whp. if this thing actually makes about 280whp on race gas... that's pretty impressive IMO. specially for as hot as it was.

hey derek i'm interested to hear what you've got to say about the IM spacer I was looking at one of those cause richard and I have got the motor torn apart and are replacing all the gaskets and new hardware and 034 sells that spacer kit..... anyways i keep looking at your project every day and can't wait for mine to get drivable........

I can tell you it makes a difference, you can flog the motor and the IM will still be cool to the touch unless it's a hot hot day.

Yeah I'm not sure about those numbers, my car's run 13.3 at over a 100 weigh's quite a bit more and dyno'd 213 wheel HP. I don't think I'll be able to get any better than what I've run with my K24. My 20v gets hot around the top of third and the mac11 pulls timing feels like the car falls on its face.

thanks 8) i'd like to make some more progress on the car soon as i have a small pile of things collecting for it. unfortunately i've been on hold for a while with the interior.... hopefully that gets squared away soon.
i did go drive it yesterday and it still has some C14 in the tank... man, i hate* that stuff
*by hate i mean desperately love

i got the OZ's from Ben and thought i'd give em' a quick try on the zermatt car...

8.5 is just too wide :( oh well, they'll look good on the UR where i wanted to put them originally.

if they were 7.5/8's i could run them, but they are made for mercedes fitment which doesn't fare well with these small chassis.
also, i put my winter kumho's/BBS's on this evening too... with the chipped ecu, it's way to easy to put those guys in a state of tire smoking

The Mayor would never catch him, its hard to run in heels and a tight skirt (or so I hear)
