Interested in getting a 3B head. Anyone know differences in 3B/AAN?

Looking for spare/one to be fully built.

Thanks,
Nick

they are different. aan accessory bracketry won't bolt up to 3b. dont know if it will the other way around either. better off using correct block.

More on topic... The heads are basically the same. AAN had a bracket for the cam sensor and the 3B was set up for a distributor. I have an AAN head with a plug in the distributor hole that I picked up to build, so it should serve my purposes. Just make sure whatever head you get has a hole for the distributor.

7A heads can be used with the proper water manifold machining too. Usually in better shape than the turbo heads too. Always an option if you find one cheap.

Thanks! I will look into that. Finding an affordable 3B head is pretty hard and I want to keep mine running during all the machine work.

I've got a 7a head complete with cams. Was running a week ago.
